Editorial Policy

This page explains how Jobviza finds, checks and maintains the information we publish about jobs, scholarships, exams and travel. Because our readers make real decisions based on these guides, we hold our content to a clear standard.

How we source information

Every opportunity we cover is verified against its official source, the employer’s careers page, the university or scholarship body, or the relevant government portal. We link to that source in the article so you can confirm the details first-hand.

Deadlines and accuracy

We only state an application deadline when it is officially confirmed, and we encourage readers to re-check the official page before applying, since dates can change. We do not publish unverified rumours.

Our writers

Our articles are written and reviewed by named members of our team, led by Miles Obi, Careers and Scholarships Editor. Author details appear on each post.

Updates and corrections

We review our listings regularly. Expired opportunities are updated, redirected or removed, and we welcome reader corrections at editor@jobviza.com. When we make a significant correction, we note it on the article.

Independence and disclosure

Jobviza is an independent publication and is not affiliated with the organisations we write about. Where we ever earn from advertising or affiliate links, that will not affect which opportunities we choose to cover.

Fact-checking and sources

Before a guide goes live, we cross-check key facts such as deadlines, eligibility, fees, and application links against the official source. Where a figure or date cannot be confirmed, we say so plainly rather than guess. If an official page updates its information, we aim to reflect that change quickly.

Use of technology

We may use research and writing tools to help draft or organise a guide, but every article is checked and approved by a human editor before publishing. A real person is accountable for accuracy, and reader corrections are always reviewed by our team.
