Jobviza is a Nigerian careers and education publication. We help students, graduates and job seekers across Nigeria find opportunities they can actually trust, and we explain each one in plain language so you always know what to do next.
Every day, thousands of Nigerians search for jobs, scholarships, admission updates and exam guidance, and far too much of what they find online is outdated, vague, or outright fake. We started Jobviza to fix that. When you read a guide here, the aim is simple: you should finish it knowing exactly what the opportunity is, whether you qualify, and the precise next step to take.
Who runs Jobviza
Jobviza is produced by a small editorial team of Nigerian writers and reviewers who follow education, recruitment and migration closely. Our guides are overseen by Miles Obi, our Careers and Scholarships Editor, who reviews what we publish for accuracy and clarity before it goes live. Miles studied Business Management at the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) and Computer Science at the University of the People (UoPeople), and he works as a programmer, so he understands both the career side and the online systems behind most applications. You will see his name on the guides he has checked. You can read more about the people behind the site on our editorial team page.
What we cover
- Graduate and professional recruitment across Nigeria
- Local and international scholarships
- JAMB, WAEC, NECO, NABTEB and Post-UTME guidance
- University, polytechnic and college admission updates
- Personal finance, side hustles and digital skills
- Travel and visa tips for Nigerians
How we work
We check every opportunity against its official source, whether that is an employer, a university, a scholarship body or a government portal, and we link to that source in the article so you can confirm the details yourself. We state a deadline only when it is officially confirmed, and we update or mark a guide when a cycle closes so you are never misled into chasing something that has ended. Our full standards are set out in our editorial policy.
Our promise to readers
Jobviza is free to read, and we will never ask you to pay for a job, a scholarship or an admission. Nobody can boost a JAMB score or guarantee you a place, and we say so plainly whenever that scam shows up. If we ever get something wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
