What the 2026 RAIN scholarship covered

RAIN described its 2026 programme in Ibadan for Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AIML), Robot Development & Automation (RDA), or a combined track. The employer stated that the award provided part tuition coverage valued at up to ₦7.7 million; it was not a fully funded scholarship. RAIN’s terms state that scholars may still be responsible for their tuition share, accommodation, feeding, transport, personal expenses, and laptop.

Important attendance and outcome limits

RAIN said applicants had to be legally permitted to study in Nigeria and able to be physically present in Ibadan for the programme. Its terms state that a monthly stipend, accommodation, laptop, and employment placement are not guaranteed. Do not rely on copied claims that omit these costs or promise a job after training.
