It does not support a blanket claim that every Shopify role is open worldwide, available to applicants in Nigeria, or guaranteed to pay in foreign currency. Each live employer listing sets its own location, regional eligibility, work arrangement, requirements, and application process.
What Shopify currently shows
Shopify’s official careers page covers Engineering & Data, Design, Product, Commercial, and other disciplines. The current role cards include regional limits such as Remote – Americas, Remote – EMEA, Remote – APAC, United Kingdom/Ireland, Japan, or named cities. Remote does not automatically mean you can apply from any country, and Shopify’s live role pages—not copied posts—control the conditions.
How to check a suitable Shopify role
- Search Shopify Careers by discipline, skill, and the region where you are authorised to work.
- Open the exact live job card and confirm the location, hiring jurisdiction, experience requirements, work arrangement, and closing status.
- Do not infer visa sponsorship, a salary currency, relocation, or eligibility for Nigeria unless the specific official role states it.
- Apply only through the application route inside Shopify’s official careers site.
