If you are a student in Nigeria and you have heard about the Myschool CBT Challenge, here is the short version. Season 11 starts on Monday, 9 November 2026 and runs for five weeks until Sunday, 13 December 2026. Entry is free, and the official announcement says over ₦1,000,000 in prizes will be given out. The challenge is built around practice: you sit computer based tests on the Myschool platform, complete the weekly tasks, and the students who do the most of the right things are the ones who win.
This guide covers what the prizes are, who can enter, how to enter step by step, how the weekly structure works, and what to watch out for. Every figure and date below comes from the official Myschool Season 11 announcement at https://myschool.ng/news/myschool-cbt-challenge-season-11-over-n1000000-worth-of-prizes-to-be-won. Where a detail is not in that announcement, we tell you to check the official site.
What are the prizes?
The challenge has four separate prize streams. They run side by side, and you can take part in one or all of them.
The Myschool CBT Simulator Challenge is the main contest. Each week, the first 100 students on the Myschool CBT Challenge Ranking automatically qualify for a random draw. From that draw, 30 winners are selected and each receives ₦5,000. That is ₦150,000 every week and ₦750,000 across the season in cash prizes.
The Social Media Challenges run twice a week. There is ₦40,000 worth of airtime and ₦120,000 worth of Bronze Agent Activation Packages, each containing 5 activation pins, to be won across the whole challenge.
The TikTok Video Testimonial Challenge pays ₦60,000 for first place, ₦30,000 for second and ₦15,000 for third.
The Week 5 Essay Challenge uses the same tiers: ₦60,000, ₦30,000 and ₦15,000.
The official page says winners will be posted on all the social media platforms every Tuesday during the season, so check there for the latest winners.
Who can enter?
Every Nigerian student is eligible, and participation is free. You only need a Myschool account to access the CBT Simulator. If you do not have one, you can register at https://myschool.ng/register. If you already have an account but cannot get into it, use the forgot password option rather than creating a new one.
The rule that matters most is one account per student. The official announcement says anyone found using multiple accounts will be disqualified from all winnings. Pick one account and stick with it.
How the CBT Simulator Challenge works
The simulator is available from version 8.1.0 of the Myschool App, version 5.1.0 of the Myschool Software, and the free online Myschool CBT Challenge Simulator. To start:
- Open the Myschool App or Software, or go to the online simulator at https://myschool.ng/classroom/exam/challenge.
- Choose Test from the main menu and select CHALLENGE SIMULATOR as the exam type.
- English Language is already selected. Choose any three other available subjects and proceed to the test.
- Write as many exams as you can during the week, aim for high scores, and post your preferred scores online so they count on the ranking.
The more challenge CBTs you complete, the more points you earn, and the closer you get to the Top 100. The official page describes ranking boosts at certain CBT milestones, but the exact numbers are not repeated in this guide, so check the official site for the current list before you plan your week.
What happens after you make the top 100
If you are in the top 100 for a week, the official page asks you to do two things. First, post a short text review of the Myschool CBT app on either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, explaining how it has helped you prepare for exams, study better, or stay motivated. The official links are https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.myschool.cbt for Google Play and https://apps.apple.com/ng/app/jamb-cbt-waec-past-questions/id6746404560 for the Apple App Store.
Second, take a screenshot that clearly shows your review and your name, which must match the name you registered with on Myschool. Send that screenshot by WhatsApp to 08170023468. The official page says that if you already posted a review before the competition began, you only need to take the screenshot. You only have to do the review once during the season, although the page notes you can win more than once.
Only selected winners who have posted their review are credited each week, so do not skip this step if you are in the top 100.
Social media tasks: Instagram Mondays and Facebook Wednesdays
The official page introduces twice-weekly social media tasks with instant rewards. Instagram tasks drop on Mondays and Facebook tasks drop on Wednesdays. Each task is open for completion between 9 am and 11 am, and between 2 pm and 4 pm. At each session, one Bronze activation package is won and two fastest-finger airtime challenges are run.
Each task comes with clear criteria, and students who complete it correctly win free activation codes and airtime top-ups. Follow the official accounts so you see tasks as they drop: Instagram @myschoolnigeria and Facebook @myschoolnigeria.
TikTok testimonial challenge: 1 to 4 December
The official page says the TikTok Video Testimonial Challenge launches on 30 November. Create a video sharing your experience using the Myschool platform, covering how it has helped you prepare for exams, study better, or stay motivated. Post it on TikTok with the hashtag #MySchoolCBTChallenge11, and follow the official account at tiktok.com/@MyschoolNigeria.
The posting window runs from 9 am on Tuesday, 1 December 2026 to 12 pm on Friday, 4 December 2026. Videos posted outside that window will not be considered. Winners are chosen by likes and positive engagement, and the official page says winners will be announced on Monday, 7 December on all social media platforms.
Week 5 essay challenge
In the final week, the official page hosts a special essay challenge. The topic and criteria will be announced on 7 December 2026. Entries must be submitted by 12 pm on Thursday, 10 December 2026. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, 15 December 2026. Prizes follow the same tiers as the TikTok challenge: ₦60,000, ₦30,000 and ₦15,000.
Questions students ask
Do I have to pay to join? No. The official page says you do not have to pay a kobo to participate.
Can I join more than one contest? Yes. The official page says the contests are open for you to take part in one or all of them.
Can I win more than once? The official page says it is possible to win multiple times across the contest.
What if my name does not match my review screenshot? The official page requires the name on the screenshot to correspond with the name you registered with on Myschool, so make sure they match before you send it.
Where do I see the winners? The official page says winners of the simulator draw are posted on all Myschool social media platforms every Tuesday during the season.
A realistic weekly plan
The challenge runs five weeks, and the weekly draw is paid out each week, so you do not need to do everything in week one. Start the simulator early so you know how it works before the pressure builds. Practise with the subjects you will actually be tested on, not only the ones you enjoy. Keep a simple log of your daily CBTs so you can see whether you are on track.
Short daily sessions work better than one marathon session at the weekend. Students who cram many CBTs into a couple of days often rush and lose focus.
For the TikTok and essay tasks, write and record in your own words. Copied work is not worth the risk.
Scam warning
Be careful with anyone who asks you to pay money to join, to unlock a prize, or to move up the ranking. Entry is free. The official page only asks for a WhatsApp screenshot to 08170023468 for the review step. If someone asks for your Myschool password, or asks for money to speed up your ranking, treat the request as fraud and stop. Use only the official links listed on this page.
