JAMB Result Services: Use Official Candidate Channels and Avoid Scams

JAMB Result 2026 Second Batch Official Release And Checking Guide

Status checked: October 21, 2026. This page no longer treats an old “second batch” headline as a current JAMB release notice. For your own UTME record, begin from JAMB’s official website and e-Facility account. Only rely on a result or service when it is available in your individual official account or confirmed by a current JAMB notice.

This guide explains how to use official JAMB channels safely. It does not announce a release date, confirm a batch, provide a score-upgrade route, sell a result slip, or guarantee that a candidate’s result/service is available.

Use only official JAMB entry points

Official route Use it for Do not assume
JAMB main website Current Board notices, verified service links, IBASS, CAPS, and support entry points. A social-media screenshot or a cloned page is an official result announcement.
JAMB Portal / e-Facility Accessing your own candidate account and applicable post-registration services. Someone else’s portal screenshot, agent account, or “result link” reflects your individual record.
JAMB support route Raising a genuine issue through the Board’s published support channel. A WhatsApp contact, personal bank account, or Telegram handle can resolve/alter a JAMB result.

Safe way to check your own record

  1. Type jamb.gov.ng into your browser or use a trusted bookmark, then follow the official link to the JAMB portal/e-Facility.
  2. Log in with the personal email and password attached to your candidate profile. Do not share your account password, OTP, email password, registration number, or recovery details with an agent.
  3. Look for the relevant current service in your own account and follow the instructions displayed there. Available services can differ by cycle and candidate status.
  4. If JAMB publishes a result-checking or slip-printing instruction for the applicable cycle, follow that current official notice exactly rather than an old blog, copied SMS format, or viral shortcode.
  5. For a real error or access problem, use the Board’s official support/ticket route and keep your official reference/receipt.

Do not rely on an old “batch” or SMS claim

Result-release timing, account options, fees, mobile instructions, and service availability can change. This guide therefore does not repeat an old second-batch date or a supposedly universal SMS/USSD command. A message, number, or payment instruction should be treated as unverified unless it appears in a current JAMB notice or within your official candidate service flow.

Protect your result and identity

  • Do not pay anyone for a “score upgrade,” early result, changed score, special release, result suppression removal, or a guaranteed original result slip.
  • Do not send your JAMB e-Facility password, email password, OTP, banking PIN, card details, or full identity documents to a social-media helper.
  • Do not use a result screenshot from another person as evidence of your record; use your own official account and official document route.
  • Do not enter your credentials on a domain that does not clearly belong to JAMB. Lookalike portals and payment links can be fraudulent.
  • Keep official receipts and use the Board’s published contact/support route for an actual candidate-record issue.

Official sources

  • Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board: official notices, candidate services, CAPS, IBASS, and support entry point.
  • JAMB Portal: official route to e-Facility and post-registration services.
  • JAMB e-Facility Login: official individual candidate account access.
  • JAMB Payment and Services: current Board service/payment context and support information.

Last checked: October 21, 2026. Before acting on any result-release, SMS, fee, printing, or account claim, confirm it in a current official JAMB notice or your own official candidate service flow.
