The board has officially released strict guidelines regarding the CBT centers. There are specific things they have completely prohibited from entering the examination hall. If the security officials catch you with any of these materials they will immediately cancel your paper and hand you over to the police. The security officials will use sensitive metal detectors to search every single student before they enter the hall. Please ensure you leave these following materials at home or hand them over to your parents before you join the queue.

Mobile Phones. This is the biggest offense you can commit. Even if your phone is completely switched off do not put it inside your pocket or bag.

Wristwatches. Whether it is an expensive smart watch or a normal analogue leather watch the board has banned all of them. Keep your wrist completely bare. The computer already has a timer on the screen.

Calculators. You do not need to bring any calculator from home. The computer you will use for the exam already has a standard calculator installed on the screen for all your calculations.

Writing Materials. Ordinary pens pencils erasers and rough sheets are totally prohibited. If you need to do any rough calculation the center will provide a customized rough sheet and pencil for you inside the hall.

Fashion Eyeglasses. If you use spectacles for medical reasons you are allowed to bring them but the officials will test them thoroughly to ensure there are no hidden cameras. However ordinary fashion sunglasses are completely banned.

Electronic Devices. Flash drives Bluetooth devices earpieces smart rings cameras and smart lenses are strictly forbidden. Do not try to be overly smart.

Books and Papers. Do not bring any textbook notebook or squeezed paper into the venue. The only paper you are allowed to hold is your official examination slip.
Important Notice On Biometric Verification
Before you sit down the officials must scan your thumbprint to verify your identity. This is to stop people from writing the exam for other candidates. If the scanner cannot read your fingerprint you will not write the exam.
For the female students please avoid drawing henna or any decorative paintings on your hands. The ink will block your fingerprints and the machine will reject you entirely. Also if you normally have sweaty palms try to bring a very clean handkerchief to dry your hands properly before placing your thumb on the scanner.

Penalties For Breaking The Rules
This is not a joke at all. If anybody is caught trying to cheat or smuggle these prohibited materials into the CBT center the punishment is very severe. The officials will fill a malpractice form for you immediately. Your result will be withheld and you might be banned from writing the exam for the next three years.
